This real world design make project aimed to help support the native Southern Brown Bandicoots in Koo Wee Rup.

By reconnecting the divide created by the main drain and dangerous road, bandicoot populations are able to move across the landscape once more. 

The bridge floats across the drain for bandicoots to use to cross to either side and is also designed to fail in the event of a flood, allowing debris and flood waters to pass by unrestricted.
